Liefmans

Fruit beers created by re-fermenting the fruit in the traditional Liefmans Old Brown ale, after which there is a blend of young and old beer, before it is placed in champagne corked bottles, presented with a protective wrapping paper. Brewed at the Liefmans brewery, Oudenharde Province East Flanders, now owned by Riva. The ruby coloured Frambozen (Raspberry) has rich and well-balanced, fresh and sweetish raspberry flavours, with the refreshing tartness of brown ale. Top fermented.
