Kwak
More known
for its mini yard of ale glass this amber coloured beer, brewed by Bosteels
brewery in Buggenhout, province Flemish Brabant, is well balanced with
a fruity, malty sweetness, hints of licorice and a warm lingering finish.
Named after the innkeeper Fat Paul, who had a brewery-pub and waned
to sell his beer to the coach drivers, who were not allowed to drink
in the pub with their passengers. He came up with the Kwak glass with
the wooden holder, which was attached to the coach so the driver could
drink and drive ?!
